Chapter 2

Rebuild and Rise Fierce

Chimmi in front of a wall that says: You don't unf*ck your life overnight. You do it belief by belief, thought by thought.
A note from Joemy

Old beliefs don't send a warning. They just show up. This is how I caught mine, one snap or tap at a time.Joemy

Your exercise

Snap or Tap

Beliefs can hit anytime, anywhere. Here's how to stop them fast.

  1. Pick your tool. Wear a rubber band on your wrist, or use tapping.
  2. Catch it. The second a limiting thought hits, snap the band or tap your wrist to break the pattern.
  3. Flip it. Right away, replace that thought with your new belief. Say it out loud or in your head.
  4. Feel it. Attach a feeling to it. If your belief is “I am worthy,” let yourself feel that confidence or peace.

Write your answers by hand in the exercise, and the 3 things from your coach on your My Notes pages (31 and 32). Old school. Writing it yourself is what makes it stick.
